श्यामाच्छबलं प्रपद्ये: Bhagavan Shree Vishnu Hridaya-Dhyana - Shyama or Shabala or White?

For me chosing the Colour of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu for Hridaya-Dhyana varies upon my mood, but I am more in mad love with Shyama Vishnu for sure. 

Brilliant Blue Bhagavan Shree Narayana is Very Beautiful too, don't hesitate to find Ashraya in such Hridaya-Dhyana too. 

Futher is the Tika of OM VishnuPad Madhwa Acharya to "Shree Chandogya-Upanishad", (Adhyaya 8, Khanda 13, Mantra 01) cited from Chandra Vasu 1909 translation).

श्यामाच्छबलं प्रपद्ये शबलाच्छ्यामं प्रपद्येऽश्व

इव रोमाणि विधूय पापं चन्द्र इव राहोर्मुखात्प्रमुच्य

धूत्वा शरीरमकृतं कृतात्मा

ब्रह्मलोकमभिसंभवामीत्यभिसंभवामीति ॥ ८.१३.१॥

shyAmAchChabalaM prapadye shabalAchChyAmaM prapadye.ashva

iva romANi vidhUya pApaM chandra iva rAhormukhAtpramuchya

dhUtvA sharIramakR^itaM kR^itAtmA

brahmalokamabhisaMbhavAmItyabhisaMbhavAmIti 

Translation: "I take refuge with the Lord having all colours through meditation on Him as having no colour : I take refuge in the Lord having no colour by meditating on Him as having all colour. Shaking off all evil as a horse shakes his hairs or as the moon frees herself from the mouth of Rahu, shaking off the body, I obtain the uncreated realm of Brahman, having obtained the Self".

Tika by OM VishnuPad Madhwa Acharya: "In Khanda 13th is taught the method of worshipping Bhagavan Shree Vishnu in His different Colours as Residing in the heart. 

One colour of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu as residing in the heart is Dark called Shyama (श्याम). It may be violet colour or pure black. 

The colour of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu as dwelling in the heart is also Shabala (शबल) or variegated. The commentary mentions this: 

"The colour of Visnu as dwelling in the heart is Dark (Shyama ) as well as variegated (Shabala ) or having various and manifold colours. (Shabala also means a collection of all colours.)

These two forms of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu, One Dark and One White (for white is an aggregate of all colours, and Dark is absence of all colours) both dwell in the heart. 

A man must worship and meditate on these Forms of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu. 

But there is no order in which ho may meditate on these two forms. 

He may begin with Shyama meditation and end with Shabala, or begin with Shabala and end with Shyama. 

The order is not crucial".

Spring Life 2015

I am reading Volume 02 of "Shree Narada-Purana" now, making notes and remarks. Later I will cook out a number of posts with the Verses in Sanskrit I liked the most. 

A number of Chapters in Volume 02 are Jnana-Yoga (don't like them), still apart from them there a number of Bhakti-Chapters, which are just BRILLIANT. 

One of the Chapters is about ShadGuna, very beautiful, check this euphonic Verse, talking about BHAGAVAN SHREE KRISHNA being NIRDOSHA and NIRMALA: 

स ज्ञायते येन तदस्तदोषं शुद्धं परं निर्मलमेव रूपम् /

संदृश्यते चाप्यवगम्यते च तज्ज्ञानमतो ऽन्यदुक्तम् //

sa j~nAyate yena tadastadoShaM shuddhaM paraM nirmalameva rUpam /

saMdRRishyate chApyavagamyate cha tajj~nAnamato .anyaduktam //

Monday and Tuesday were all about shopping, I have renewed my spring garments, check this rather bizzare T-Shirt in witch-house style. 

And bought a lot of other garments as well, I don't know why but this spring I have plunged into skate style a little bit with skinny jeans and etc. (though my  daily clothes style is classic PREPPY - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preppy). 

I have visited an Indian Shop also and bought NEW BRONZE MURTI OF BHAGAVAN SHREE NARAYANA♥♥♥♥♥♥. I will tell about New Murti in the separate post.

Читаю сейчас второй Том "Шри Нарада-Пураны", потом сделаю небольшой обзор с цитатами на  Санскрите, которые понравились мне во Второй Части. 

2 дня бешеной гонки по магазинам, обновляю весенний гардероб. Казалось бы, можно походить в прошлогодней весенней одежде, но она уже надоела....Неожиданно я уплыла в сторону скейтерской моды, подсев на skinny jeans (хотя мой обычный стиль это различные модификации стиля preppy - https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Преппи)

Во Втором Томе "Шри Нарада-Пураны" есть несколько Глав про Гьяну, я чуть не уснула, пока их читала. Кришна смеялся надо мною и смешил меня. Кришнёныш говорит: "На этих Главах ты спишь, а сейчас смотри, Я скажу: "Шмотка!!!!!!!". 

И я сразу такая: "Что новая шмотка?" И сна как не бывало. И оба смеемся....

Да, Кришна иногда подшучивает надо мной как над старой ветераншей Бхакти.....Ветеранша, ХАХАХАХАХАХАА......Вы слишком молоды, сочны и слишком любите секс, юная кинкари.........

Кстати, у нас с Кришнёнышем новая утренняя традиция: мы теперь с Мужежулей подолгу сосемся и ласкаемся по утрам. Нет, мы и раньше этим занимались, но теперь наши утренние забавы стали очень весенними, долгими и ушли в сторону подростково-интимных ласок и прикосновений.....

Поэтому этой весной, девчонки, не стесняйтесь целовать Кришну во все части Тела сразу...И особенно в Пело (чего ты пишешь? какое пело? Ну это типа чело, на самом деле, я хотела написать Пенис, но типа кхе.....кхе....кхе....цензура....и я скрыла его за неологизмом)......
