Tatkratu nyaya from "Shree Chandogya-Upanishad" and The Sole Devotion to Krishna

Some time ago I stumbled across a remark about "tatkratu nyaya" in one of Vaishnava-Granthas (with losing bookmark to The Grantha afterwards, so I can't tell what Grantha it had been).

In brief: for Vaishnavas "tatkratu nyaya" means that Dhyana of a bhakta in this life will determine his state in the next life (or Moksha).

This principle gets extended gloss in Shree Gaudiya-Sampradaya (Shree Chaitanya-Sampradaya). I do remember that OM VishnuPad Sanatana Goswami tells in "Shree Brihad-BhagavatAmrita", that if a bhakta, for example, worships Bhagavan Shree Narasimha he will get Moksha at Shree Narasimha-Loka, a bhakta of Bhagavan Shree Varaha will get Mukti at Shree Varaha-Loka and etc.

This is one of the reasons, Acharyas of Shree Gaudiya-Sampradaya dwell on Ekantika-Bhakti devoted to Bhagavan Shree Krishna - The Sole Devotion to Krishna will lead bhakta to Shree Goloka (or Shree Krishna-Loka).

Pramanically this Siddhanta relies on the Mantra 3.14.1 from "Shree Chandogya-Upanishad"

Thanks to the Kripa of Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi and Bhagavan Shree Narayana I have very old edition of "Shree Chandogya-Upanishad" with The Tika of OM VishnuPad Madhwa-Acharya (translated in English by Chandra Basu), but the Verse 3.14.1 is without Tika in this edition.

Anyway the translation of Chandra Basu is superb, so, the Verse 3.14.1:

सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म तज्जलानिति शान्त उपासीत ।
अथ खलु क्रतुमयः पुरुषो यथाक्रतुरस्मि्ँल्लोके
पुरुषो भवति तथेतः प्रेत्य भवति  स क्रतुं कुर्वीत

sarvaM khalvidaM brahma tajjalAniti shAnta upAsIta |
atha khalu kratumayaH puruSho yathAkraturasmi.Nlloke
puruSho bhavati tathetaH pretya bhavati  sa kratuM kurvIta

Translation: "This Brahman is indeed the Full. Let one meditate with devotion on Him as the Mover-on-the-water. (Such meditation leads to faith). Next because a man is a creature of faith, as is his faith in this life, so will be his condition in the next after death. So let him generate full faith (in the Lord.)".

Chandra Basu translates "क्रतुं" (kratuM) as "conviction" and "faith in Bhagavan Shree Vishnu", very good words choice indeed!

Tatkratu nyaya is also fixed in very classic Pramana from "Shreemad Bhagavatam", Verse 7.1.25-30 and subsequent Verses, please refer to the Chapter 01 of 7th Song of "Shreemad-Bhagavatam", which is just beautiful and very exceptional.
