The Sleeping Murti of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu

In April I have purchased new Murti of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu (was mentioned in this post).

By the sheer miracle we have one Indian shop in our area (the Eastern part of Moscow), but the shop has very scanty scope of Vaishnava Murtis.

When I visit this shop I usually buy everything Vaishnava-connected (usually, just 2-3 items, because shop is not Vaishnava-oriented and does not sell more).

So, being near the shop in the bloom of spring, I have noticed the Murti of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu right in the storefront, but I have decided not to buy, though upon returning home, I have understood that I had gotten hooked on the Murti.

So, I boomeranged the shop next day and purchased The Murti.

The Murti is made of bronze and despite of the small size, this Representation of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu is rather heavy. According to Vishnu-Agamas all Bronze Murtis of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu are especially auspicious to Love, Cherish and Worship.

Especially for this Murti I am reciting "Shree Vishnu-Hridaya-Stotram", Bhagavan Shree Vishnu Loves this rare Hridaya very much.
By the way, upon arriving to my house, Bhagavan Shree Vishnu has demanded to lay Him asleep at The Lotus Feet of Shreemati MahaLakshmi-Devi. So, This Murti of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu lives in my house always asleep and muffled in blankets (see the following photo with Him Sleeping Sweetly in green shawl):

Apart from The Murti I have obtained golden magnet with Shreemati Radhika-Devi and Bhagavan Shree Krishna (looks very beautiful and turned out to be ideally suitable for my Sony Vaio computer iron framework):

Apart from the above-mentioned acquisitions, out of the blue,  the shop sellers presented me golden magnet in Shree Vidya Tradition (extremely beautiful with my very much Adored and Precious Shreemati Saraswati-Devi):

Kingston necklace flash-drive (kingston dtge9)

The design of this flash-drive is very interesting. You can either

Pennyboard

This sping (and summer) I will ride pennyboard a lot. I chose this black one.

At first I would like to purchase longboard, but pennyboard is smaller and more manoeuvring. I will buy longboard for the next summer.

I have spend around 4 days, training to keep balanced ride (when you learn at first, you are falling off all the time and don't have a knack to rotate).

After a week of exercising I am perfectly trained. Got to tell, that pennyboard is rather useful, as it trains legs and abdomen of course.

Krishna's milk

I have fed the chihua of my sister with milk today (charged with Krishna-Mantras).

The chihua drank the milk as if it was something she has been waiting for centuries (she greedily drank half of a cup, which is enormous for such a small breed).

After this the dog's pattern of behaviour has altered completely: she feels very calm and peaceful (apart from usual pert and glib behaviour).

Very Beautiful Murti of Shreemati Varahi-Devi

Actually, I was searching for The Image of Bhagavan Shree Yajna-Varaha, but found this Very Beautiful Murti of Shreemati Varahi-Devi:

The Emblem of BalaRama

It is written in "Shree Brahma-Purana", that BalaRama Emblem is Palm Tree!

Actually, it is very easy to memorize, because:

"palm tree" in Sanskrit is ताल (tAla) and

"plough" is हल (hala)

"Shree Brahma-Purana", Chapter 208:

ity uktvA krodharaktAkShas tAlA~Nko .adhomukhaM halam /
prAkAravapre vinyasya chakarSha mushalAyudhaH // 208.32 //
AghUrNitaM tat sahasA tato vai hastinApuram /
dRRiShTvA saMkShubdhahRRidayAsh chukrushuH sarvakauravAH // 208.33 //

After saying this, Balarama, whose emblem was a palm tree and whose weapon was ploughshare, placed it with its face downwards on the top of the city outer wall and pulled.

Suddenly, the city of Hastinapura rolled. On seeing it the Kauravas were agitated in their hearts.

The Embodiment of Divine Joy

Very beautiful phrase: "The Embodiment of Divine Joy" and the picture from http://goo.gl/I6p6UJ

Hundreds of nooses in hells and deep pits of 'my-ness'

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.42: "People whose minds are deluded by Your Maya attain birth, death, old age etc. of a sinful nature. They see the King of the dead in the middle".

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.43-45: "Then those men are bound by means of hundreds of nooses in hells.

They attain very terrible misery. This is your Cosmic Form. I am very much sensuous. I am deluded by your Maya, O Great Lord, I wander amidst deep pits of 'my-ness'.

I have sought refuge in You, The Primordial Isha. My mind is distressed due to exhaustion and agony of worldly existence. I am desirous of finding Shelter in You, being disgusted with worldly affairs."

हनुमन्

Classically should look like this (to look just type in "hanuman heart" in google images - https://goo.gl/sJPNlh):

The Dialogue of Bhagavan Shree Krishna and Mucukunda

The Dialogue of Bhagavan Shree Krishna and Mucukunda in "Shree Brahma-Purana" is very beautiful, sounds like very hi-quality sci-fi movie.

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.23-25.

After reducing that sinner Muchukunda looked at Bhagavan Shree Krishna and said: "Who are you?"

Lord Shree Krishna said:

"I am born of The Lunar Race. I am the son of Vasudeva, The Scion of The Family of Yadu".

On hearing it Mucukunda remembered the words of the elderly Gargya.

After recollecting everything he bowed down to Lord Shree Krishna, The Lord of all Identical with everyone.

Mucukunda said: "You are The Greatest Ishvara. You are born of Bhagavan Shree Visnu's part.

"Shree Brahma-Purana", 88.26. Formerly, this was mentioned by Gargya - Bhagavan Shree Hari will take birth in The Line of Yadu towards the end of Dvapara Yuga in the 28th cycle of four Yugas".

Amba Nilayatakshi

This is very beautiful Song, I have found it while reading "THE SPIRITUAL HERITAGE OF TYAGARAJA" (E-BOOK link) and bookmarked in order to find the original Lyrics later.

The following Lyrics and translation from http://sahityam.net/wiki/Amba_Nilayatakshi

ambā nīlāyatākṣi karuṇā kaṭākṣi
akhila lōka sākṣi kaṭākṣi

Oh Mother Neelayatakshi, the Goddess with blue eyes, show mercy, The one who bears witness to the entire universe, show grace.

Anupallavi

bindu nāda vaśaṅkari śaṅkari
(madhyama kāla sāhityam)
ambujā ramaṇa sōdari ati rathi
ambari kādambari nīlāmbari

The One whose lips are sweet and red like the bimbA fruit, bears the reflection of consciousness.

The One who absorbs the sounds of the subtle emanations of the nada bindu, the ever-auspicious.

The Sister of The Husband of Lakshmi, the expert charioteer.

The one who pervades the realm of space, wears the Kadamba flowers and wears blue silk.

Aishwarya way of killing

The killing of Kamsa scene in "Shree Brahma-Purana" accentuates the Divine Nature of Bhagavan Shree Krishna, as Lord Shree Krishna killed Kamsa by just falling on him.

Someone may think that Lord Shree Krishna is lean and of light weight, but

Imperishable Being amongst the perishable ones

Chapter 192 (192 in GRETIL version, but 84 in English Motilal Edition) of "Shree Brahma-Purana" describes the Vision of Lord Shree Krishna and Lord Shree BalaRama by Akrura.

Dazzling Verses in Aishvarya-mood. I was amazed to find out that

DEVI GAANAMRITHAM (Priya Sisters)

I forgot to write that all the week around I was listening to DEVI GAANAMRITHAM sung by Priya Sisters - https://youtu.be/f7zfMGwdArQ.

The marvellous and brilliant album, Priya Sisters are still my favourite songtresses. But the main point about the album of course, that it is devoted to Shreemati Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am listening the album primarily during my bicycle rides in our dense forest. The vibe of the album is very spiritual, no cheap production, purely carnatic with zero religious pop.

Now on the first place among my carnatic records.

Very beautiful Verse about The Loka of Bhagavan Shree Vishnu. In Sanskrit:

परमानन्दजननं सर्वकामफलप्रदम् /
विष्णुलोकात् परं लोकं नात्र पश्यामि भो द्विजाः // ६८.६९ //

paramAnandajananaM sarvakAmaphalapradam /
viShNulokAt paraM lokaM nAtra pashyAmi bho dvijAH // 68.69 //

Water sanctified by Lord Krishna against pishacas, graha doshas...

Sometimes people ask if there are exorsism rites in Vaishnavism. The simple answer is yes, but most of them are hidden in Vaishnava Tantras.

Though, there is a simple way to remove

तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः

A number of Verses in "Shree Brahma-Purana" is based on repeating patterns, for example:
